- 12 lasagne noodles
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagne noodles according to package instructions.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Spread 1/3 of the marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer 4 noodles over the sauce.
- Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles.
- Add another layer of sauce, followed by 4 more noodles.
- Spread remaining ricotta mixture and top with 1/3 of the marinara sauce.
- Add the final layer of noodles and cover with remaining sauce.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
- Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can add cooked ground meat for extra protein.
- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms.
- Lasagne can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator.
