Air Fryer Chicken Parmesan: 30-Minute Guilt-Free Joy

A healthier version of the classic chicken parmesan made in an air fryer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken fillets
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat each chicken fillet with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  5. Place the chicken in the basket and spray the tops lightly with cooking spray.
  6. Cook for 10 minutes, then flip the chicken.
  7. Add marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese on top of each piece.
  8. Cook for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  • Adjust cooking time based on chicken thickness.
  • Pair with a side salad or pasta.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
