Ingredients

- 1 lb chicken fillet, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic powder, and ginger powder.
- In another bowl, place the cornstarch.
- Dip chicken pieces in the egg, then coat them with cornstarch.
- Place the coated chicken in the marinade for 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds over the marinated chicken.
- Arrange chicken bites in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove and serve warm.
Notes
- Adjust cooking time based on the size of chicken pieces.
- Serve with a side of steamed vegetables or rice.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
