Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken fillet, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, gochujang, honey, garlic powder, ginger powder, sesame oil, and black pepper.
  2. Add chicken pieces to the marinade and mix well. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Coat the marinated chicken pieces in cornstarch.
  5. Place chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  7. Once cooked, garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.

Notes

  • Adjust the spice level by adding more or less gochujang.
  • Serve with rice or as an appetizer.
