- 2 chicken fillets
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Flatten the chicken fillets using a meat mallet.
- Season the flour with salt.
- Dredge each chicken fillet in flour, shaking off excess.
- Dip the floured chicken in beaten eggs.
- Coat the chicken with breadcrumbs.
- Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry the chicken until golden brown on both sides.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add herbs to the breadcrumbs.
- Serve with a side salad or potatoes.
