Ingredients

- 4 sausages
- 2 large potatoes
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Peel and chop the potatoes.
- Boil the potatoes until soft, about 15 minutes.
- Drain and mash the potatoes with milk, butter, salt, and pepper.
- Cook the sausages in a skillet over medium heat until browned and cooked through.
- In the same skillet, add sliced onions and cook until soft.
- Sprinkle flour over the onions and stir for 1 minute.
- Add beef broth and stir until the gravy thickens.
- Serve sausages on a bed of mashed potatoes and top with gravy.
Notes
- You can use any type of sausage you prefer.
- Add herbs for extra flavor.
- Leftover mash can be used for bubble and squeak.
