- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup barbeque sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Coat the chicken breasts with the mixture.
- Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side.
- Brush barbeque sauce on the chicken during the last few minutes of grilling.
- Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Remove from grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Marinate the chicken in barbeque sauce for extra flavor.
- Use a meat thermometer for best results.
- Serve with coleslaw or corn on the side.
