- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until soft.
- Stir in the chili powder, cumin, and paprika.
- Add the kidney beans, diced tomatoes, and beef broth.
- Bring to a simmer and cook for 30 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Notes
- Serve with cornbread or rice.
- Adjust spice levels by adding more chili powder.
- Can be made in a slow cooker for better flavor.
