- 500g ground beef
- 100g pancetta, diced
- 400g canned tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add onion, carrots, and celery. Cook until softened.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add ground beef and pancetta. Brown the meat.
- Stir in canned tomatoes, tomato paste, wine, and broth.
- Add oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 30 minutes.
- Serve over pasta and top with Parmesan cheese.
