- 1 lb chicken, cut into pieces
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons garam masala
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon coriander
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1 can (14 oz) tomatoes, pureed
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt to taste
- Cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Marinate chicken in yogurt, lemon juice, garam masala, cumin, and coriander for at least 1 hour.
- In a pan, melt butter and sauté onions until golden.
- Add garlic and ginger, cooking for another minute.
- Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned.
- Stir in pureed tomatoes and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add heavy cream and simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
- Season with salt and garnish with cilantro before serving.
