Chicken and Kale Bolognese: A Healthy Dinner Delight

A healthy twist on classic Bolognese with chicken and kale.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 2 cups chopped kale
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
  3. Add ground chicken, cook until browned.
  4. Stir in crushed tomatoes, kale, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  5. Simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Serve topped with Parmesan cheese.

  • Can substitute ground turkey for chicken.
