Chicken and Mushroom Alfredo: 35-Minute Family Comfort Meal

Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes until tender.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  6. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  7. Add cooked chicken and season with salt and pepper.
  8. Combine the sauce with the fettuccine and toss to coat.
  9. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use fresh mushrooms for better flavor.
  • Adjust seasoning to your taste.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
