Chicken and Tomato Bolognese: 5 Deliciously Hearty Tips

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 2 cups diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 1 celery stalk, diced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add onion, garlic, carrot, and celery. Sauté until softened.
  3. Add ground chicken. Cook until browned.
  4. Stir in diced tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  5. Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Serve over cooked pasta and top with Parmesan cheese.

Notes

  • You can use fresh tomatoes instead of canned.
  • Serve with garlic bread for a complete meal.
