Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes

  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 1 celery stalk, diced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add onion, garlic, carrot, and celery. Cook for 5 minutes until softened.
  3. Add ground chicken and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in crushed tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  5. Simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Serve over your choice of pasta and top with Parmesan cheese.
