- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 4 pieces of chicken (fillets or thighs)
- 1 cup buttermilk (for chicken marinade)
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Oil for frying
- Maple syrup for serving
Instructions
- Marinate chicken in buttermilk for at least 2 hours.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk buttermilk, eggs, and melted butter.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients to make waffle batter.
- Preheat waffle iron and cook waffles according to instructions.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry marinated chicken until golden and cooked through.
- Serve chicken on top of waffles with maple syrup.
Notes
- You can use any type of chicken.
- Adjust seasoning to your preference.
- For a spicier version, add cayenne pepper to the chicken marinade.
