Instructions
- Heat butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Add onions and cook until caramelized, about 15 minutes.
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, and thyme.
- In a separate pan, cook chicken until golden brown, about 6 minutes per side.
- Add beef broth to the chicken pan and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Top chicken with caramelized onions and Swiss cheese.
- Cover and let cheese melt for 5 minutes.
- Serve hot.
