- 1 lb chicken fillet, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 pita breads
- 1 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1/2 cup tzatziki sauce
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Add chicken slices and coat well. Marinate for 30 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 5-7 minutes or until fully cooked.
- Warm pita breads in a separate pan.
- Assemble gyros by placing chicken, lettuce, tomato, onion, and tzatziki sauce in the pita.
- Wrap and serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning based on your taste.
- You can add cucumber for extra crunch.
- Serve with extra tzatziki on the side.
