- 1 lb chicken fillet, sliced
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 pita bread
- 1 cup lettuce, chopped
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1/2 cucumber, sliced
- 1/2 cup tzatziki sauce
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add chicken fillet and coat well. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the marinated chicken for 6-8 minutes, until fully cooked.
- Warm the pita bread on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
- Assemble the gyro: place chicken, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and tzatziki sauce in the pita.
- Wrap the pita and serve immediately.

- Feel free to add more vegetables like onions or bell peppers.
- For extra flavor, add spices of your choice.
