- 500g chicken fillet, diced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 pita breads
- 1 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix chicken with olive oil, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the chicken for about 10-12 minutes until fully cooked.
- Warm the pita breads on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
- Spread yogurt and lemon juice on each pita.
- Add grilled chicken, lettuce, tomato, and cucumber to the pita.
- Wrap the pita and serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust spices based on your preference.
- Serve with extra yogurt on the side.
- Can substitute chicken with beef or lamb.
