Ingredients

- 4 chicken fillets
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 cup Marsala wine
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the chicken fillets with salt and pepper.
- Dredge the chicken in flour, shaking off excess.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add chicken and cook until golden brown on both sides.
- Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.
- Add mushrooms to the pan and sauté until soft.
- Pour in Marsala wine and chicken broth; bring to a simmer.
- Return chicken to the pan and cook until fully cooked through.
- Stir in butter until melted and sauce is smooth.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Serve with pasta or mashed potatoes.
- Can substitute white wine for Marsala.
