- 4 chicken fillets
- 2 apples, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups apple cider
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season the chicken fillets with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add the chicken and cook until browned on both sides.
- Remove the chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add onion and cook until translucent.
- Add the sliced apples and cook until softened.
- Pour in the apple cider and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and return the chicken to the skillet.
- Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
