- 500g chicken thighs, boneless
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons shawarma spice mix
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt to taste
- 4 pita breads
- 1 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 1/2 cup tahini sauce
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix chicken with olive oil, shawarma spice mix, garlic powder, paprika, and salt.
- Marinate the chicken for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat grill or skillet over medium heat.
- Cook chicken for 6-8 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
- Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Slice the chicken into thin strips.
- Warm pita bread on the grill for a minute.
- Assemble the sandwich with chicken, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and tahini sauce.

- Adjust spice levels to your preference.
- Can substitute chicken with beef or lamb.
