Ingredients
- Chicken fillet – 500g
- Yogurt – 1 cup
- Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
- Ground cumin – 1 tsp
- Ground paprika – 1 tsp
- Ground turmeric – 1 tsp
- Olive oil – 2 tbsp
- Salt – to taste
- Pita bread – 4 pieces
- Tomato – 1, sliced
- Cucumber – 1, sliced
- Lettuce – 1 cup, shredded
- Tahini sauce – for drizzling
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, garlic, cumin, paprika, turmeric, olive oil, and salt.
- Add chicken and coat well. Marinate for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat grill or skillet over medium heat.
- Cook marinated chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
- Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Slice the chicken into strips.
- Lay pita bread flat and fill with chicken, tomato, cucumber, and lettuce.
- Drizzle with tahini sauce and wrap tightly.
