- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup crème fraîche
- 1 cup cheese (Reblochon or Gruyère), sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, sauté onions and garlic until soft.
- Add shredded chicken and cook for 5 minutes.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a baking dish.
- Spread the chicken mixture over the potatoes.
- Top with the remaining potatoes.
- Pour the chicken broth over the layers.
- Dollop crème fraîche on top.
- Arrange cheese slices over the crème fraîche.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until potatoes are tender and cheese is golden.
Notes
- Use leftover roast chicken for quicker preparation.
- Experiment with different cheeses if desired.
