Ingredients

- 2 chicken fillets, boneless and skinless
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup mirin
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon sake
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 green onion, chopped
Instructions
- Combine soy sauce, mirin, sugar, and sake in a bowl.
- Marinate chicken fillets in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Cook chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
- Add remaining marinade to the pan and simmer until thickened.
- Slice chicken and drizzle sauce over it.
- Garnish with chopped green onion.
Notes
- Serve with steamed rice or vegetables.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if desired.
- Can use chicken thighs for a different texture.
