Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar

  • Yellow food coloring
  • White frosting
  • Chocolate chips for eyes
  • Red fondant for comb
  • Green fondant for grass

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and baking powder.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  5. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to the butter mixture.
  6. Add vanilla extract and yellow food coloring.
  7. Pour batter into greased cake pans.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cakes cool completely.
  10. Frost with white frosting and decorate with chocolate chips and fondant.
