Ingredients

  • 2 boneless chicken fillets
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Mayonnaise
  • Pickles
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Dredge marinated chicken in the flour mixture.
  5. Fry chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Drain on paper towels.
  7. Assemble the sandwich with mayonnaise, fried chicken, and pickles on a bun.
