Instructions
- Marinate chicken in buttermilk for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and herbs.
- Remove chicken from buttermilk and let excess drip off.
- Dredge chicken pieces in the flour mixture until fully coated.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Fry chicken in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 15 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels before serving.
