- 4 chicken thighs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup pesto sauce
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Marinate chicken in buttermilk and pesto for at least 2 hours.
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
- Coat marinated chicken in the flour mixture.
- Fry chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 15-20 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels before serving.
Notes
- For extra crunch, double dip the chicken in buttermilk and flour.
- Use a thermometer to check chicken’s internal temperature (165°F).
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
