- 4 pieces of chicken (legs or thighs)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup pesto sauce
- 2 eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat your oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
- In one bowl, beat the eggs and add a pinch of salt and pepper.
- In another bowl, mix flour with salt and pepper.
- In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
- Coat each piece of chicken in flour, dip in egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Spread pesto evenly on the coated chicken.
- Carefully place the chicken in the hot oil.
- Fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 15-20 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels before serving.
Notes
- Adjust frying time based on chicken size.
- You can use store-bought or homemade pesto.
- Serve with a side salad or dipping sauce.
