- 1 block firm tofu, drained and pressed
- 1/2 cup sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil for frying
- 2 green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat the oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cut the tofu into cubes.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce and sesame oil.
- Coat the tofu cubes in the soy sauce mixture.
- Sprinkle cornstarch over the tofu and toss to coat.
- Roll the tofu in sesame seeds until fully coated.
- Fry the tofu cubes in hot oil until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels and garnish with green onions.
Notes
- Adjust the frying time for desired crispiness.
- Serve with rice or salad.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
