  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add onions and cook until translucent.
  4. Stir in flour, salt, thyme, and pepper.
  5. Gradually add chicken broth and milk, stirring until thickened.
  6. Add chicken, carrots, peas, and potatoes to the mixture.
  7. Pour the filling into a pie crust in a deep dish.
  8. Cover with the top crust and seal the edges.
  9. Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
