Ingredients

- 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into florets
- 2 cups of cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 cup of milk
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Steam the cauliflower florets until tender.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the flour and stir for 1 minute to form a roux.
- Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring until the sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and stir in half of the cheese until melted.
- Combine the cauliflower with the cheese sauce, mixing well.
- Transfer to a baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
Notes
- Use sharp cheddar for more flavor.
- Add breadcrumbs on top for extra crunch.
- Can be served as a side or main dish.
