- 1 pound boneless chicken breast
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup carrots, chopped
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1/4 cup onion, diced
- 2 cups biscuit mix
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine chicken, broth, carrots, celery, peas, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Reduce heat and let simmer for 20 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix the biscuit mix and milk until combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dough into the simmering chicken mixture.
- Cover and cook for 10 minutes until dumplings are fluffy.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
