Ingredients

- 500g white fish fillets
- 250g smoked fish
- 300ml milk
- 50g butter
- 50g flour
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 500g potatoes, peeled and chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C.
- Boil the potatoes until tender, then mash with butter and season.
- In a pan, melt butter and sauté onion until soft.
- Add flour, then gradually whisk in milk until thickened.
- Add fish and parsley, then season to taste.
- Pour the fish mixture into a baking dish.
- Top with mashed potatoes and smooth it out.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
Notes
- Use any firm white fish.
- Can add peas for extra flavor.
- Let it cool before serving.
