Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine chicken and water. Bring to a boil.
  2. Add carrots, celery, onion, garlic, bay leaf, salt, and pepper.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
  4. Remove chicken, shred meat, and return to the pot.
  5. Simmer for an additional 15 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
