- 1 lb pizza dough
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
- 1/2 cup cooked sausage, crumbled
- 1/4 cup green bell pepper, diced
- 1/4 cup onion, diced
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
- Spread marinara sauce over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
- Layer mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, bell pepper, and onion on top of the sauce.
- Sprinkle Italian seasoning over the filling.
- Roll the dough tightly from one end to the other.
- Pinch the ends to seal the stromboli.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the top with beaten egg.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool for 5 minutes before slicing.
