Ingredients

  • 4 chicken fillets
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season chicken fillets with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook bacon until crispy, then remove and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, sear chicken on both sides until golden brown.
  6. Transfer chicken to a baking dish.
  7. Top each chicken fillet with barbecue sauce and crumbled bacon.
  8. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
  9. Remove from oven and sprinkle cheese on top.
  10. Return to oven until cheese is melted.
