- 1 lb ground chicken
- 2 tablespoons jerk seasoning
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of lettuce
- 4 slices of tomato
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground chicken, jerk seasoning, breadcrumbs, and egg until combined.
- Form the mixture into four patties.
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for 5-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
- Mix mayonnaise and lime juice in a small bowl.
- Spread the mayo mixture on the buns.
- Assemble the burgers with lettuce, tomato, and chicken patty.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level by using more or less jerk seasoning.
- Serve with your choice of toppings.
- Can be grilled or cooked in a skillet.
