- 1 cup buttermilk
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
- Dip chicken pieces into buttermilk, then coat with the flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry chicken pieces in hot oil until golden brown and cooked through, about 15-18 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
