- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups vegetable oil (for frying)
- 1/2 cup gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
- Coat chicken wings in the flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat.
- Fry chicken wings until golden and crispy, about 10-12 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, combine gochujang, honey, soy sauce, garlic, and sesame oil.
- Toss fried wings in the sauce until well coated.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or less gochujang.
- For extra crispiness, double fry the chicken.
- Garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
