- 12 lasagne sheets
- 500g ground beef
- 400g ricotta cheese
- 300g mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a pan, sauté onion and garlic until soft.
- Add ground beef, cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and oregano.
- Mix ricotta cheese with the egg in a bowl.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer 4 lasagne sheets over the sauce.
- Add half of the beef mixture, followed by half of the ricotta mix, and a layer of mozzarella.
- Repeat the layers, finishing with marinara sauce and mozzarella on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
Notes
- Let the lasagne sit for 10 minutes before serving.
- You can add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for variation.
