Light Cheesy Chicken, Sausage & Rice Casserole Delight

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup cooked sausage, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cooked rice, chicken, sausage, bell peppers, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and mix well.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  5. Top with shredded cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until heated through and cheese is melted.

Notes

  • Use leftover chicken and sausage for quick preparation.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables.
  • This dish can be made ahead and refrigerated.
