- 2 cups macaroni pasta
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Cook macaroni pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder to the melted butter. Stir for 1 minute.
- Slowly whisk in milk and bring to a simmer.
- Add shredded cheddar cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
- Add cooked macaroni to cheese sauce. Stir to combine.
- Serve hot.

- For a richer flavor, use a mix of cheeses.
- Add breadcrumbs on top for a crunchy texture.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
