- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups dashi stock
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1/2 cup sliced pork belly
- 1/4 cup pickled ginger
- Okonomiyaki sauce for drizzling
- Japanese mayonnaise for drizzling
- Bonito flakes for garnish
- Nori seaweed for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour and dashi stock until smooth.
- Add eggs, cabbage, green onions, pork belly, and pickled ginger. Mix well.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little oil.
- Pour a portion of the batter into the skillet and shape it into a circle.
- Cook for about 4-5 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
- Flip the pancake and cook for another 4-5 minutes.
- Repeat with the remaining batter.
- Drizzle with okonomiyaki sauce and mayonnaise.
- Garnish with bonito flakes and nori.
- Serve hot.

- You can customize the toppings according to your preference.
- Try adding shrimp or squid for a seafood version.
- Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
