- 1 lb chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix cornstarch, flour, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge chicken pieces in the mixture.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add chicken and cook until golden brown and crispy.
- In a separate bowl, combine orange juice, sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, ginger, and garlic.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir to coat.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
Notes
- Serve with steamed rice or vegetables.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less sugar.
