- 1 lb chicken fillet, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Dip chicken pieces in cornstarch, then in beaten eggs, and finally coat with flour.
- Fry the chicken in hot oil until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a saucepan, combine orange juice, soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a boil.
- Simmer the sauce until it thickens.
- Toss the fried chicken in the orange sauce.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve.
Notes
- Serve with steamed rice or vegetables.
- Adjust the sugar for sweetness to your preference.
- For extra crunch, fry the chicken twice.
