- 500g minced beef
- 2 large carrots, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 50g butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the minced beef over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
- Stir in diced carrots, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Pour in beef broth and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Boil potatoes until tender, then drain.
- Mash potatoes with butter and milk until smooth.
- Season mash with salt and pepper.
- Serve the savoury mince over the mash.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- For extra flavor, add herbs like thyme or rosemary.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to three days.
