Ingredients

  • 500g minced beef
  • 2 large carrots, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 50g butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the minced beef over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
  3. Stir in diced carrots, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Pour in beef broth and simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Boil potatoes until tender, then drain.
  6. Mash potatoes with butter and milk until smooth.
  7. Season mash with salt and pepper.
  8. Serve the savoury mince over the mash.

Notes

  • Adjust seasoning to taste.
  • For extra flavor, add herbs like thyme or rosemary.
