Ingredients

  • 2 chicken fillets, diced
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 cup chickpea flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Oil for frying
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons tamarind paste

Instructions

  1. Marinate diced chicken with garam masala, turmeric, and chili powder.
  2. Mix chickpea flour and water to make a batter.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and fry the onion slices until golden brown.
  4. Dip marinated chicken in the batter and fry until cooked through.
  5. Mix mayonnaise with tamarind paste.
  6. Assemble the sandwich with bread, chicken, onion bhaji, and tamarind mayo.
  7. Serve and enjoy.
