Instructions

  1. Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. Cook the rice according to the package instructions.
  3. Mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt in a small bowl until dissolved.
  4. Once rice is cooked, transfer it to a bowl and add the vinegar mixture. Stir gently.
  5. Let the rice cool to room temperature.
  6. Place a sheet of nori on a bamboo mat.
  7. Spread a thin layer of rice over the nori.
  8. Add fish, cucumber, and avocado on top of the rice.
  9. Roll the sushi tightly using the bamboo mat.
  10. Slice the roll into bite-sized pieces and serve with soy sauce and wasabi.
